Trauma-Informed Care Consulting

Evidence-based education for organizations & systems that want to prevent and heal early childhood trauma

Creating Trauma Informed Organizations

At BTTC, we empower organizations with expert guidance on childhood trauma to create psychologically safe and productive environments while also preventing re-traumatization.

Learn practical, evidence-based skills to heal and prevent early childhood trauma

Approximately two-thirds of children will experience trauma by the time they reach their 16th birthday. The hopeful news is that much of it is preventable with trauma-informed education and relational skills.

That’s where I come in.

Childhood trauma is not only the big, catastrophic events, but more often the lack of care and emotional support that children need to thrive.  The sobering reality of the children’s mental health crisis is based in unresolved early childhood trauma, and desperately needs our attention. When we work together, you will learn cutting-edge strategies to prevent trauma, and if that opportunity is lost, how to heal trauma. Leveraging my expertise as a trauma therapist for young children in the child welfare system, I empower workplaces and organizations with the knowledge to help children recover from adversity and toxic stress.

Join a trauma-informed webinar

Through our trauma-informed and healing-centered workshops on early childhood trauma, we equip organizations with the necessary skills to disrupt the cycle of trauma and support children in their recovery from adversity and loss.

Childhood trauma disproportionately impacts the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities due to racism, prejudice, and other systemic failings in our culture.

Our ultimate aim at BTTC is to make knowledge about trauma inclusive, accessible, and empowering for all.
