Preventing Trauma. Strengthening Relationships.
Building Trust.

Helping professionals, organizations, and caregivers understand childhood trauma and loss so they can create the relationships every child needs to thrive.

There is Hope for Children Impacted by Trauma

The research shows that one emotionally attuned, trauma-responsive adult can make the difference between lifelong trauma and lifelong wellbeing.

That’s where my work comes in.

I translate the science of childhood trauma into practical strategies that help adults prevent trauma, respond with compassion, and support healing.

I’m not your stereotypical, jargon-filled trauma therapist. My work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience, including motherhood, loss, and my own mistakes as a parent. In addition to being a mother, this is my life’s purpose, and it shows in everything I do.

My approach is probably different than what you’ve experienced in the past with experts. I start with identifying your strengths and I don’t pretend to have a magic wand or all the answers. I work closely alongside you and listen. Together, we look at what’s working and what’s not working in your systems and your relationships to find new ways to build trust and hope for the children who need it most.

If you’re ready to get out of survival mode and start creating real change for kids, let’s GO.

I offer evidence-based training, consulting, and keynote speeches on trauma-informed and healing-centered practices. Send me a message to get started today.

NEW! Join Trauma Toolkit Tuesdays

As practitioners in the field of trauma, we often encourage self-care and ongoing education for others, but we rarely find a space to make it happen for ourselves. Trauma Toolkit Tuesdays™ will be our place!

Every month in our online meeting, you’ll leave our time together with:

– At least one idea that changes the way you think about trauma, healing, or human connection.

– Practical strategies you can immediately apply in your work with children, families, clients, students, or staff.

– A renewed sense of inspiration, connection, and confidence to continue growing as a trauma-informed professional.

– A reflective practice for ongoing learning between meetings.

I hope to see you there!

Be the most trauma-informed person in the room.
